Ok, so three days ago the Susan G. Kormen Foundation withdrew their financial support of Planned Parenthood.

{cue applause}

Today they reinstate it.

Outrageous! The hypocrisy of a foundation whose basis is to save lives supports an institution that is a death factory.

But what about the mammograms??? Poor women have no recourse! What about women’s health???

LIES! There are alternatives to Planned Parenthood. And as far as mammograms, it would seem that many women need to find an alternative anyhow.

“Our original desire was to fulfill our fiduciary duty to our donors by not funding grant applications made by organizations under investigation,” she said.

Brinker said in her statement that the Komen Foundation is amending the criteria of its new policy to make clear that it will only bar funding for organizations under investigation if that investigation is “criminal and conclusive in nature and not political.”

(CBS News)

Ummm…from my understanding the investigation against Planned Parenthood IS criminal in nature.

So why did they do it?

The Komen Foundation’s decision to cut ties with Planned Parenthood spurred a strong backlash against the charity. Online, groups opposed to the decision drew tens of thousands of supporters, and in Washington, more than two dozen senators called on the Komen Foundation to reverse its decision. Planned Parenthood also saw a surge in donations in response to the news.

Don’t kid yourself. The ‘strong backlash’ has nothing to do with women getting mammograms. All of this is a business. A big business ($$$) supported by the liberal left. Look up the profit margin that Planned Parenthood (a non profit organization) takes in from their abortion practice. I can’t post links because it would lead to things I don’t want the children to see. Suffice to say, Planned Parenthood is the largest institution that provides abortions.

Abortion is LEGALIZED GENOCIDE.

Approximately 48 – 50 MILLION babies have been LEGALLY aborted since 1973.

So the next time you pat yourself on the back for buying a product with the pretty pink bow that stands for hope…. DON’T.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.

Psalm 139:13-16

Yea! I finally found this video again!

I’m so happy!

I found it… lost it…. found it again….saved it to the desktop… hard drive crashed….

It’s hard to find things when you can’t remember what they’re called!

This is a wonderful  video for adults or children. It gives a clear concise explanation of the gospel that’s easy to understand and take in quickly. The children thoroughly enjoyed it.

While it gives a good summation, it IS only 11 minutes long and therefore is best used as the perfect prelude to deeper discussion!

As we observe Thanksgiving this year we must remember all of Gods blessings and goodness, and remember that all things work together for good when we trust in Him.

Our family has had an overabunance of blessings this year between the addition of our wonderful Thaddeus and being settled into our own home finally….

Our family has food…

Our family has shelter…..

Our family has transportation….

Our family has health…..

Our family has love….

Our family has hope….

Our family has opportunity….

Our family has God….

What more do we need?

Every day should be a day of thanksgiving for us.

Giving thanks should be a LIFESTYLE.

Our HAVES are so much more then our HAVE NOTS.

We have very single basic need required to live a good and comfortable life.

Like so many others, we are  shamefully guilty of getting caught up in the not so perfect things and moments. Trials and tribulations, hard times, pettiness, irritants, confusion and such are going to come and go in our lives and during those times it is so easy to forget….

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV

 ********************************

While we spend time with family and enjoy our bounty savory and sweet

May we remember those who have nothing to eat.

Whose burdens are heavy and hearts are brought low

With no hope for change their lives are full of woe.

Can we in good conscience enjoy our feast

Without prayers for those who have the least?

To give to the poor is what God commanded

So the joy of the Lord can be expanded.

Misery and sadness will not be done away

Until the King comes to slay

Satan, the son of perdition, that glorious day.

It’s the believer’s duty – with open heart and hand

To give to those who do without, all across the land.

Spread Gods lovingkindness and touch anothers heart

So those who hear Gods word will not depart.
